Receiving osteopathic treatment during her teens whilst doing competitive judo sparked Gemma’s interest in anatomy, movement and health. This led to completing her 4 years Masters in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy, now University of Health Sciences in 2013.
Whilst she enjoys all aspects of osteopathic practice, she was inspired to complete a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the world renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children after seeing the benefits treatment gave to her very premature nephew. This led to a special interest in paediatrics, and pre and post partum care. She also has a focus on womens’ health, including gynae conditions and perimenopause.
Gemma enjoys attending many courses and seminars to continue expanding her knowledge, meet other healthcare professionals and provide the best care for her patients.
“One of the most fulfilling parts of practice is the time we have with patients to fully understand their needs in order to create a holistic, tailor made treatment plan for them. Feeling healthy, strong and well is one of life’s greatest joys!”
When not working, Gemma is happiest being in or on water, strength training and walking on the Downs. She is a keen traveller, taking every opportunity to enjoy the UK, Europe and when possible even further afield!
Gemma is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. She is registered with Aviva, Cigna Healthcare, Vitality Healthcare and WPA.

I have been seeing Gemma for a year for an autoimmune condition. And I’ve had the longest spell of being well for a long time. She is hands down the best osteo I’ve been treated by, she deeply listens and her treatments are incredibly powerful.
