Harriet graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy.

During her time spent at the ESO clinic, she was able to treat a variety of patients and had the opportunity to work alongside Osteopaths experienced in Sports injuries, Women’s health and Paediatric and Maternity care. Through this time Harriet developed an interest in treating young children with physical or mental disabilities and pre-natal to post-partum osteopathic care.

Harriet has always had an interest in sport and treating sports injuries. As a gymnastics coach and by pursuing her own passion for rock climbing, she has gained a proficient awareness for managing injuries and aiding rehabilitation among many different sports. Harriet also holds a Sports Massage qualification leading her to work with a variety of athletes from grass roots to elite levels.

With an ever-growing interest in health and wellbeing, Harriet will always take the time to understand her patients, their backgrounds and lifestyle, and therefore apply a holistic treatment plan to suit individual needs.

Mummy MOT®,
The Postnatal Check You Deserve

A Mummy MOT® is a specialist postnatal examination for women following both vaginal and caesarean deliveries. It is recommended that this assessment is carried out 6-8 weeks after birth. However, if you are still experiencing pregnancy or birth related symptoms, even years afterwards, we can still carry out the Mummy MOT® to assess for these.

In your Mummy MOT® appointment, we will:

  • Listen and understand your pregnancy and birth story
  • Carry out a full postural analysis
  • Assess the pelvic floor muscles
  • Check the abdominal muscles for separation / tummy gap
  • Screen for bladder, bowel or sexual dysfunction

We will then tailor the session to your individual goals, this can include:

  • Advice on how to safely carry out activities such as lifting your baby or pushing a pram
  • A bespoke recovery rehabilitation programme specific to your goals
  • Create a plan to return to your exercise when the time is right
  • Discuss any concerns you have
  • A report of the findings of your assessment emailed to you

Up to half of all women experience weakness in both the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy and up to a third still have a tummy gap at eight weeks post-birth. This can cause instability or poor core strength leading to women developing pelvic or back pain or bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction. These conditions should not be something you should just put up with as a result of having a baby.

Never fail to be impressed by the service here. Harriet always listens carefully to any symptoms and assesses everything and lets you know as she goes along. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team here and it is the only place I will go to.

Harriet is fantastic. Once I've really committed to the process, she fixed pain and discomfort that lived inside me for 15 years since giving birth. Patient, and great at answering questions and explaining things.

My 16 yr old daughter came to see Harriet after a horse riding fall 2 years previously. Having been treated by a number of osteopaths with no improvement, she had been told to just accept she was going to “be wonky” and have treatments when the pain flared up, which is did, almost continuously. After a few treatments with Harriet, my daughter’s posture began to improve. Harriet encouraged her to do exercises and stretches in between treatments. Now my daughter is symmetrical, something that we had been told by a number of professionals was not going to be possible! She is more confident about challenging her neck/shoulder as she trusts in her body to cope. When she has a flare up, which is so rare now (ie GCSE stress!) she has a treatment with Harriet and gets her body back on track as it is now able to heal much quicker. I thoroughly recommend Harriet, even if you think an injury is to old to be helped.

I have been to see Harriet on numerous occasions to treat the bursitis of my knee. She always explains clearly how she is treating the issues that have had a knock on effect on the rest of my body. She also demonstrates/teaches me targeted exercises that I can do to aid my recovery. She is a professional, respectful and kind osteopath that I would definitely recommend.

I have had very thoughtful, focussed and expert care from the osteopaths here since 2021. I feel as if I am receiving valuable guidance along a quite epic journey of recovery. Bith from a 2020 disc herniation and more generally, i.e. with lingering long-term tensions (and the aches and pains of aging) - unfortunately I am still feeling the effects in my spine and hips of an untreated road accident in 1971 ! I wish I’d had access to such expert osteopathy back then. Definitely recommended.

I have been treated by Harriet about 3 or 4 times now and she has really been able to sort out my hip and lower back pain. She takes time to explain why I had the pain and gave me a schedule of stretching that has made a huge impact. I can’t reccomend her enough!!

The BEST osteopath of all time. I’m a long hauler lifelong chronic pain/injury sufferer. For years I have been seeing Jeremy who diligently has stuck with me, turfing through layer upon layer of fascia and muscle, later adding in brilliant Harriet’s sessions, and my body is finally turning the corner for the first time in my life. These people are amazing and unique practitioners, who treat fearlessly, with care, patience and curiosity. You have changed the course of my life- thank you 🙏

I have been seeing Gemma for a year for an autoimmune condition. And I’ve had the longest spell of being well for a long time. She is hands down the best osteo I’ve been treated by, she deeply listens and her treatments are incredibly powerful.

I have been attending the Drive Osteopath clinic intermittently over the last 25 years, firstly under the care of Jeremy and then his daughter Harriet. The service, professionalism and attention to detail is exemplary and I have always felt safe in their hands. They explain things clearly, we discussed the treatment plan and I always am offered follow-up exercises to cement the good work they have put in place. I cannot recommend this osteopath clinic, highly enough
